Google has unveiled the Pixel 10 Pro and Pixel 10 Pro XL smartphones

Google has officially announced the Pixel 10 Pro and Pixel 10 Pro XL. Externally, the smartphones retain the design of their predecessors, but get some significant updates: a new processor, larger batteries, and a fresh camera. Available colors are Moonstone (blue-gray), Obsidian (black), Porcelain (white), and Jade (green).

The Pixel 10 Pro features a 6.3-inch LTPO OLED display with a resolution of 1,280 × 2,856 pixels, while the Pixel 10 Pro XL has a 6.8-inch screen with a resolution of 1,344 × 2,992 pixels. Both screens support adaptive refresh rate from 1 to 120 Hz and achieve brightness up to 3300 nits. Gorilla Glass Victus 2 is responsible for the protection. The screen has an ultrasonic fingerprint scanner, and the front camera has a resolution of 42 MP.
The main update is the Tensor G5 chipset, first produced by TSMC. It delivers 34% more CPU performance than the Tensor G4, and also supports the Gemini Nano for the first time. Complementing it is the Titan M2 security chip. The smartphones come with 16GB of RAM.

Cameras have traditionally remained the main focus. There’s a 50MP main camera (1/1.3″), a 48MP ultra-wide-angle module (1/2.55″) and a new 48MP telephoto lens camera with 5x optical zoom and up to 100x hybrid zoom. 8K video recording at 30 frames per second is supported.

The Pixel 10 Pro has a 4,870mAh battery with 30W charging support, while the Pixel 10 Pro XL gets a 5,200mAh battery with 45W charging. Qi2 wireless charging is also available, with up to 15W for the Pixel 10 Pro and up to 25W for the Pixel 10 Pro XL. All of this is realized through the new Pixelsnap magnetic system.
The smartphones run Android 16 with Material 3 Expressive UI. Google guarantees 7 years of OS updates, security and Pixel Drop.
The two devices are IP68 protected and support Wi-Fi 7, Ultra-Wideband, and Bluetooth 6.
