Unveiled budget smartphone Poco C85 with a large screen and a 6000 mAh battery

After a slew of leaks and rumors, Poco has officially announced the new Poco C85, an affordable entry-level smartphone that offers a basic but balanced set of specs.
The smartphone gets a 6.9-inch display with an adaptive refresh rate of up to 120Hz and TÜV Rheinland certification to reduce eye strain. The U-shaped notch houses an 8-megapixel front camera, while the rear features a dual main system with a main 50-megapixel AI-powered sensor.
The 12nm MediaTek Helio G81 Ultra processor is responsible for the performance. Memory configurations include 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage or 8GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage, with virtual memory allowing you to expand the RAM capacity up to 16GB.
One of the main highlights of the Poco C85 is the 6000 mAh battery that provides up to 82 hours of music playback. It supports 33W fast charging and Battery Health 3.0 technology to extend battery life. Additionally, there’s 10W reverse wired charging for recharging other devices.
Despite the capacious battery, the smartphone’s body is only 7.9mm thick. It’s also IP64 dust and splash resistant and comes in three colors: green, purple, and black.
The Poco C85 starts at $109 for the 6/128GB version, and $129 for the 8/256GB variant as part of an early-bird offer.
