MSI unveiled the 500Hz MAG 272QP monitor with Samsung’s new OLED sensor

MSI has unveiled its new 27-inch MAG 272QP gaming monitor. This model is the first in the brand’s lineup to use Samsung’s third-generation QD-OLED panel and includes software solutions to minimize burn-in risk.

The MSI MAG 272QP display is based on an OLED matrix utilizing quantum dots. The screen resolution is 2560×1440 and the refresh rate reaches 500Hz. It offers full DCI-P3 color space coverage, peak brightness up to 1000 cd/m², DisplayHDR True Black 500, VESA ClearMR 21000, and EOTF Boost, which dynamically increases brightness above the maximum level without compromising visual quality.
The manufacturer claims a response time of 0.03ms (GtG). Advanced anti-burn-in algorithms allow you to adjust the screen refresh rate for up to 24 hours, with automatic refresh every four hours.
