MSI has unveiled its new 27-inch MAG 272QP gaming monitor. This model is the first in the brand’s lineup to use Samsung’s third-generation QD-OLED panel and includes software solutions to minimize burn-in risk.

The MSI MAG 272QP display is based on an OLED matrix utilizing quantum dots. The screen resolution is 2560×1440 and the refresh rate reaches 500Hz. It offers full DCI-P3 color space coverage, peak brightness up to 1000 cd/m², DisplayHDR True Black 500, VESA ClearMR 21000, and EOTF Boost, which dynamically increases brightness above the maximum level without compromising visual quality.

The manufacturer claims a response time of 0.03ms (GtG). Advanced anti-burn-in algorithms allow you to adjust the screen refresh rate for up to 24 hours, with automatic refresh every four hours.

Switching capabilities are represented by DisplayPort 1.4a, HDMI 2.1 and Type-C ports. In addition, split-screen and Picture-in-Picture modes are also available, allowing you to display content from two different sources in parallel.

MSI MAG 272QP is available now for a suggested retail price of $749 ($60 170 USD).
