Social network Odnoklassniki has unveiled its Silver Age program, which aims to support content creators for older users. The new initiative brings together authors working on the most in-demand topics for the 55+ audience.

Odnoklassniki has launched a Silver Age program to support content creators for older users.

Silver Age Program Topics

  • health and disease prevention, healthy habits, psychology and active lifestyle;
  • culinary: home recipes, dishes from childhood, baking, cooking tips and healthy food;
  • creative hobbies: needlework, crafts, floristry, gardening, repair and home improvement

Content can be in the format of texts, photo posts, as well as vertical and horizontal videos. The main requirement is clear language, structured presentation and practical usefulness.

All content can be in the form of text, photo posts or vertical and horizontal videos.

Conditions for authors

The program is open to both beginners and experienced authors. Upon joining, creators will receive additional promotion from the platform, which will increase their reach and attract new subscribers.

  • having an established group in OK,
  • regularity of publications – at least 2-3 posts per week,
  • photo and video materials that comply with the rules of the program.

A second level of support is available for active authors: content is prioritized in recommendations, and reach increases by multiples.

Purposes of the initiative

Boris Mokrousov, UC’s director of marketing and content, says the program creates a safe space where the older generation feels respected and supported:

“We want to show that technology can be a tool for caring, keeping intergenerational connections alive and helping with everyday life. In the future, the program will be expanded to authors of other topics of interest to older audiences,” he said.
