Mail Cloud updated: AI memories, new audio player and improved video

Cloud Mail has unveiled new tools for working with content. The artificial intelligence is now able to create video stories based on uploaded clips, as well as analyze photos and combine them into ready-made memories. In addition, the service has received an updated audio player for iOS and additional features in the video player.

Automatically generated video stories are now available across all Mail Cloud platforms. Special algorithms analyze user-uploaded videos, group them by topic – such as “Season’s Memories” or “See How It Was” – and create short video clips. These videos can be saved to a device, sent to friends or shared on social media. About 10 million of these stories are generated in the Cloud every day.

At the end of the day, the Cloud is a great place to start.

Audio player for iOS: convenience and quality

A new audio player available on iOS lets you listen to audio files directly in the cloud, control playback, rewind and loop. High-quality audio and a handy table of contents with time codes make it easy to navigate, which is especially helpful when listening to audiobooks.

Additional video player features

The updated video player has received several useful improvements. Users can now change the playback speed, loop videos, and fast-forward or rewind clips by 15 seconds. These updates are available on all platforms.

“We’re seeing a steady trend of users interacting with content directly in cloud storage. In 2024 alone, more than 45.5 billion different files, including photos and videos, were uploaded to Cloud Mail. Today, these formats are becoming the basis for communication and tools for self-expression, so we are actively supporting and developing opportunities to work with them,”Sergey Tarasenko, head of product direction of Mail and Cloud Mail, commented.
