Xiaomi will unveil the Xring 01 chip, 15S Pro flagship, Pad 7 Ultra tablet and YU7 electric car as early as May 22nd

The presentation, timed to coincide with the company’s 15th anniversary, will be the largest in the brand’s history.
Xiaomi has officially announced the massive event, which will take place May 22 at 7:00 p.m. (local time). As part of the brand’s 15th anniversary presentation, the company will showcase several flagship products: the Xring 01 mobile chip, the Xiaomi 15S Pro smartphone, the Pad 7 Ultra and the Xiaomi YU7 electric SUV.
Xring 01 chip: Xiaomi’s return to the processor market
The main premiere will be Xring 01 – Xiaomi’s first next-generation branded chipset, based on the 3nm process technology. It is aimed at flagship smartphones and will be part of the company’s long-term semiconductor strategy, supported by an investment of 50 billion yuan (approximately $6.9 billion).

The chip has decade-core architecture (2 × 3.9 GHz + 4 × 3.4 GHz + 2 × 1.89 GHz + 2 × 1.8 GHz) and graphics Immortalis-G925. In Geekbench, it scores 3119 points in the single-core test and 9673 in the multi-core test – on par with the Dimensity 9400 and Snapdragon 8 Elite.
Xiaomi 15S Pro: the first smartphone on Xring 01
The new flagship smartphone Xiaomi 15S Pro will be the first device on the Xring 01 chip. The model is expected to get a focus on performance, state-of-the-art cameras, a high hertz screen and an advanced cooling system. Details about the design and features will be revealed at the launch event.
Xiaomi Pad 7 Ultra: 14-inch tablet with 120W charging
The Xiaomi Pad 7 Ultra -a premium tablet with 14-inch LTPO display and a resolution of 3.2K-is also debuting. It supports fast charging up to 120WSnapdragon 8s Gen 4. The device is aimed at professionals and will support multitasking with floating windows.

Xiaomi YU7: the brand’s first electric SUV
Xiaomi will also show the YU7first electric SUV format. It will feature a stylish body with LED rear stripe in the style of Saturn’s ring and dimensions of 4999 × 1996 × 1600 mm. A twin-engine configuration with a peak power output of up to 390 hp is expected as well as a high-speed driving mode.
Xiaomi’s long-term strategy in chips
The Xring 01 project was part of a 10-year program to develop its own chips starting in 2021. As of April 2025, Xiaomi has already invested 13.5 billion yuan (about $1.9 billion) in SoC research and development. The new processor is designed to reduce dependence on third-party solutions and strengthen the company’s position in the mobile and IoT segments.
