A well-known insider under the nickname Digital Chat Station has shared new details about MediaTek’s upcoming flagship Dimensity 9400 chip. According to the source, the new processor’s performance has been significantly improved over the previous model, and it’s almost on par with rival Snapdragon 8 Gen 4.

The improvement in single-core performance is 30 percent, with the Dimensity 9400 scoring 2,869 points in benchmarks, while the Dimensity 9300 only scored 2,207 points. By comparison, the Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 scored 2,884 points in the same test.
