Insider: AMD Ryzen 9000 desktop chips to be unveiled as early as next week

According to insider wjm47196, AMD plans to unveil new Ryzen 9000-series desktop processors at Computex 2024 as early as next week. The source also revealed some details and timelines for the chips.
According to the insider, the Granite Ridge processors based on the Zen 5 architecture will be available in four configurations, with the number of cores ranging from 6 to 16. The following models are expected to be announced:
- Ryzen 9 9950X (16 cores);
- Ryzen 9 9900X (12 cores);
- Ryzen 7 9700X (8 cores);
- Ryzen 5 9600X (6 cores).
The Ryzen 9000 series processors are expected to increase performance in multi-threaded tasks by about 40%, and the number of tasks executed per cycle (IPC) may increase by 10%.
