Dimensity 9300 will be 10% faster than Snapdragon 8 Gen 3

Mediatek is expected to unveil the Dimensity 9300 chipset soon, and previous Digital Chat Station reports have suggested four Cortex-X4 cores and four Cortex-A720 cores without the low-power A520 cores.

Today, the author of the leak provided additional information about the processor’s clock speeds, stating that the Dimensity 9300 will be 10 percent faster than the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3.

Mediatek is expected to use a 1+3+4 architecture — 1×3.25GHz Cortex-X4, 3×2.85GHz Cortex-X4, 4×2.0GHz Cortex-A720. We also expect to see an Immortalis-G720 GPU. This contrasts with the Snapdragon’s 1+5+2 set — 1×3.19GHz Cortex-X4 & 5×2.96GHz Cortex-A720 & 2×2.27GHz Cortex-A520.
