AMD has declassified the frequencies of “small” Zen 4C cores in Ryzen processors

The chip maker has revealed the specifications of its proprietary chips with hybrid architecture. AMD’s official website now lists not only the frequencies of the Ryzen 8000G series processors’ “big” cores, but also their auxiliary cores, which should help its customers better navigate their new hardware choices.
The Zen 4C cores, unlike the basic Zen 4 version, have less cache memory, but also support overclocking, albeit with limitations. In the Ryzen 5 8500G these cores range from 3.2GHz to 3.7GHz depending on load, and in the Ryzen 3 8300G from 3.2GHz to 3.6GHz. The Ryzen 5 8600G and Ryzen 7 8700G consist of only Zen 4 cores.

It was previously reported that the Ryzen 3 8300G processor will only be available in a build and not sold separately. Consequently, the Ryzen 5 8500G is the most affordable representative of the new series, with a recommended retail price of $179 (15 700 rubles). The Ryzen 5 8600G and Ryzen 8700G, excluding retailer markup, should cost $229 (20 100 rubles) and $329 (29 000 rubles), respectively.
