The release of World Of Goo 2 on Switch has been delayed until August

Developer Tomorrow Corporation has announced that the release of World of Goo 2 on Switch has been delayed to August 2, 2024. The game was originally due out on May 23, but the delay appears to be due to the team «pumping so much Goo»— whatever that means. In simple terms, the game probably just needs more time to tweak the details; you know, fix bugs, polish gameplay, the usual. We don’t mind the delay if it means a better game is on the horizon.

World of Goo 2, announced during February’s Nintendo Direct, is the sequel to the 2008 cult hit World of Goo, which was released on Wii and Nintendo Switch, as well as other platforms. The game’s gameplay centers on creating unique designs using Goo. Tomorrow Corporation is also known for its work on Little Inferno, Human Resource Machine, and 7 Billion Humans — all of which are available on Switch.

All of which are available on Switch.
