Roblox announced that it has relaxed the requirements for uploading, publishing and selling 3D content on the Roblox Marketplace.

The company previously only allowed a small number of people (through an application process) to sell clothing and other avatar accessories. Now, anyone who has passed identity verification, is a Roblox Premium member (at the 1000 or 2200 Robux level), and abides by the community standards and Marketplace rules can sell content.

Opening up opportunities for creativity — is a win not only for creators, but also for users. It’s just the first step in making Marketplace a home for more diverse user expression. With more creators around the world creating items for avatars, users will be able to find 3D things to represent them in the virtual world.
