TECNO has introduced the new SPARK 40 range
By ForGeeks TECNO has announced four new models in the SPARK 40 series: the Pro+, Pro, base version and SPARK 40C. These smartphones combine modern design, powerful performance and AI-powered features, while remaining affordable.
The SPARK 40 series stands out with a record-breaking slim design. At just 6.49mm thick, the SPARK 40 Pro+ has become the world’s thinnest curved smartphone with wireless charging support. The SPARK 40 Pro is slightly thicker at 6.69mm. The devices come in four stylish colors, including matte black, white and titanium.
The enclosure is IP64 dust- and water-resistant. The Pro+ and Pro models use Gorilla Glass 7i, which can withstand drops of up to 1.5 meters. The series is designed to withstand wet or greasy fingers, making everyday use more comfortable.

The SPARK 40 Pro+ flagship model has a MediaTek Helio G200 processor made using 6nm process technology. It scores around 470,000 points in the AnTuTu test. The SPARK 40 Pro is equipped with the G100 Ultimate processor.
All models in the series get a 5200mAh battery with 45W fast charging support. The Pro+ features 30W wireless charging and 5W reverse wireless charging, a rare feature for this price segment. The bypass charging feature reduces heating during gaming. The manufacturer claims to retain 80% battery capacity after 2,000 charge cycles and offers a 5-year warranty on battery performance.
Display and sound
The Pro+ and Pro models feature a 6.78-inch AMOLED screen with 1.5K resolution and 144Hz refresh rate. The sensor’s polling frequency reaches 2160Hz and peak brightness is 4500 nits, which is best in class. The display is SGS Low Blue Light certified to reduce eye strain.
The sound system includes Dolby Atmos-enabled stereo speakers that deliver high-quality sound for gaming and content viewing.
Artificial intelligence and cameras
The SPARK 40 series integrates Ella, a voice assistant that runs on ChatGPT, DeepSeek and Gemini platforms. Among the useful features:

The Pro+’s 50 MP main camera is enhanced with Electronic Image Stabilization (EIS) and TECNO RAW algorithm for improved image quality.

The smartphones support modern communication standards, including Super WiFi 2.0 and GPS 2.0. It comes with NFC and an IR port for controlling the tech. FreeLink lets you transfer files between devices up to 200 meters away without internet.
