Ahead of the release of DOOM: The Dark Ages, Bethesda has unveiled a unique motorcycle inspired by the medieval version of the famous game – and frankly, it’s the most “metal” collaboration we’ve seen since Hellraiser itself.

A motorcycle for the real DOOM Slayer
The custom model is based on the Harley-Davidson Sportster S, which has taken on a new demonic life thanks to the artists at id Software. And it’s not just branding with a logo on the tank – the bike is truly imbued with a DOOM aesthetic, from the monstrous dragon teeth around the headlight to the glowing runes and RGB lighting throughout the body.
The design was inspired by the mechanical dragon Serrat -one of the central enemies in DOOM: The Dark Ages. Its “mouth” visually frames the front of the motorcycle, and special downward lighting effects create the illusion of spread dragon wings while riding. The red neon elements on the sides are a visual reference to gaming PCs, as if you’re racing forward on a dragon-shaped RGB fan.

As emphasized in an official statement Simon Alty, managing director of Bethesda Softworks Asia Pacific:
“Creating this DOOM: The Dark Ages motorcycle with the support of Harley-Davidson is truly a deal made in hell. The bike captures the power and style of the legendary DOOM Slayer. What better way to launch a new game than with a demonic mechanodragon?”
Equip for those who are going to survive
The bike comes with a special outfit: themed helmet and leather jacket in the spirit of the game. The helmet is black, with a red visor and spikes, and the jacket is dark, with gothic elements, including a fur collar. It all looks more understated than the bike itself, but perfectly complements the “shotgun-wielding apocalypse rider” look.
One Bike. One Chance
The saddest part of this story is that the bike exists in a single copy. Only one person will be able to get it – and to do so, you’ll have to attend the official launch event for DOOM: The Dark Ages in Sydney, Australia on May 16, 2025. The event will take place at the Culture Kings store on George Street from 19:00 to 21:00 local time.
Attendees will not only be able to see the bike live and participate in a raffle, but also try out the new game and purchase copies at a discounted price.
DOOM is back – and in armor
Reminder, DOOM: The Dark Ages May 13 and promises to be one of the most unconventional releases in the series. Instead of the high-speed acrobatic combat of Eternal, we’ll be treated to close combat, parrying, and more meditative but brutal combat -in a dark fantasy setting.
