Xiaomi has announced the launch of the budget RedmiBook
By ForGeeks Xiaomi has unveiled an ebook with a modern screen, Android and a price tag of $200. The device is already available for purchase.
The novelty has a seven-inch E Ink Carta 1200 display with 300 pixels-per-inch density and 32-level backlighting. The device has 2GB of RAM, 64GB of flash storage, and runs Android 11. Other features include Bluetooth 5.2, Wi-Fi 5 and a 1,200mAh battery that provides up to 40 hours of battery life.
The book also has a branded case with an extra 1500 mAh battery. The laptop’s all-metal body is about 15.9 mm thick and weighs almost 1.63 kg. It is worth noting, the budget RedmiBook can play local video in 1080P resolution for 14 hours. The device is equipped with four microphones and two speakers and supports Dolby Atmos technology. The book weighs just 166g and costs — $197.
