Xiaomi launches Mijia Electric Steamer N1 electric steamer

Xiaomi has unveiled the new Mijia Multi-Functional Electric Steamer N1 for a variety of cooking tasks, from boiling and braising to steaming and using as a hotpot. The new product is already available for pre-order on JD.com for 199 yuan (about $28), and sales will begin on November 10 at 8 p.m. Beijing time.

• 13-liter capacity: The device has two main sections – 3-liter pot for cooking and 10-liter steamer. Thanks to the three-layer construction, you can cook several dishes at once, which is especially convenient for family meals or small groups.
• Powerful 1500W heater: The high power heating element provides fast boiling, heating 2 liters of water to boiling in less than 10 minutes. There are also five heating levels and precise temperature control using NTC sensors.

• Eight preset modes: Included are automatic settings for various foods such as noodles, grains, seafood, meat, fish and eggs, allowing you to achieve perfect textures and flavors without the need for manual adjustments.

• Silent operation and overheating protection: The steamer operates at a noise level of 45dB and is equipped with double overheat and dry run protection, automatically shutting off when the water level is insufficient.
• Additional features: Includes 24-hour delayed start function and 8-hour keep warm mode, allowing you to keep food hot until serving.
