According to the renders, the new headphones feature a pebble charging case with a glossy cover, while the rest of the case has a matte finish and the company’s branding. Additionally, it is important to note that this model will be significantly different from its predecessor. According to the images provided, the shape of the headphones themselves will have a more rounded design compared to the Nord Buds 2, and the same trend applies to the included battery case. The headphones have been pre-certified by the relevant BIS and FCC bodies. As a result, their key specs are known: a built-in 58mAh battery (520mAh in the case) and a dual audio system (10.4mm bass and 6mm tweeter drivers).
According to the available details, the new headphones will feature Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) with up to 48dB efficiency, and will be rated IP55 for the headphones themselves and IPX4 for the case. They will also feature a Bluetooth 5.3 module with Google Fast Pair support. The expected battery life will be up to 9 hours (up to 6 hours with active noise canceling), and with an additional charge from the case, up to 33 and 22 hours respectively. Even a 10-minute charge will allow you to enjoy your music for up to five hours.
