The back panel of the Sony Xperia PRO-II successor will retain the design of its predecessor, but its main lens will be framed by a rotating ring that can be used to adjust the camera’s aperture, zoom and focus. For the ring to be easily operated on a smartphone, it should be large and thick enough. There should be no other cameras near the ring to avoid contamination when manipulating it. The ring can also be used to control various functions when you connect accessories to your smartphone.
It’s likely that the Sony Xperia PRO will be announced in early 2024.
