Samsung unveiled Galaxy Buds3 FE – affordable headphones with ANC and Galaxy AI support

After a premature leak last week, Samsung has officially announced the Galaxy Buds3 FE. These are the new low-cost wireless headphones that replace the Galaxy Buds FE 2023.

The Galaxy Buds3 FE is a new affordable wireless headphone that replaces the Galaxy Buds FE.

Galaxy Buds3 FE get the same design as the Buds3 Pro, with a stem and silicone ear cushions. The headphones feature dynamic drivers and three microphones for active noise canceling (ANC). Connectivity is via Bluetooth 5.4 with support for AAC, SBC and Samsung Seamless Codec (SSC). There’s also connectivity to two devices simultaneously and spatial audio.

Control is implemented with pinch and swipe gestures. Voice access to Google Gemini and instant translation via Galaxy AI Interpreter are supported. In addition, the earbuds can be found using Find My Earbuds. Dust and moisture protection is IP54.

Each earbud has a 53mAh battery, and the charging case has a 515mAh battery. Samsung claims the Buds3 FE has a runtime of up to 6 hours with ANC enabled and up to 8.5 hours without it. With the charging case, the total time increases to 24 and 30 hours respectively. Charging is only via the case via USB-C.

Galaxy Buds3 FE will be available in black and gray. It will be priced at $150/€149/£129, and first shipments will start in the first week of September.
