Although the launch of the iPhone 17 series is just weeks away, rumors about Apple’s next generation of smartphones continue to surface. According to a fresh report from ET News, the company plans to change the iPhone release cycle, starting with the iPhone 18 series.

According to a recent report from ET News, Apple may change the iPhone release cycle starting with the iPhone 18 series.

Apple will reportedly hold two separate events to unveil the iPhone 18. The first will take place in September 2026, where it will unveil the iPhone 18 Air, 18 Pro, 18 Pro Max, and the long-discussed foldable iPhone.

The base iPhone 18 will be delayed until the second presentation in early 2027, where the iPhone 18e will also be shown. That strategy is expected to continue into the future, with the iPhone 19 Air, Pro, and Fold being announced in September 2027, while the standard iPhone 19 and affordable 19e will be released in the first half of 2028.
