Samsung Galaxy Watch 8: charging speed revealed

Samsung Galaxy Watch 8: charging speed revealed

Samsung’s upcoming smartwatches, the Galaxy Watch8 and Watch8 Classic, have been certified by China’s 3C agency, making some of the devices’ specs known.

One of the confirmed facts was the availability of LTE-enabled versions of both models. However, what was disappointing was the charging speed information: the maximum power is still 10W, just like the Galaxy Watch7. That means we can’t expect any significant improvements in this aspect.

The two models will be equipped with the standard set of modern wireless technologies: Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.3, GNSS, NFC and wireless charging support.

The Galaxy Watch8 and Watch8 Classic are rumored to get a redesigned squarclaw-shaped case (a square with rounded corners), while the display itself will remain round. This will echo the look of last year’s Galaxy Watch Ultra.

Samsung is expected to officially unveil the new watch in early January, alongside the release of the Galaxy Z Fold7 and Galaxy Z Flip7.

The Samsung Galaxy Watch 8: Charging speed revealed was first published on ITZine.ru.
