Philips released a 40-inch monitor for content creators

Philips recently introduced a 45-inch 45B1U6900C monitor with Double QHD resolution (5120×1440p) designed for creative professionals. Now the brand has released a smaller version of this monitor called 40B1U6903CH. Let’s take a closer look at its characteristics.

The monitor features a large 40-inch display with a resolution of 5120 x 2160 pixels (5K2K). Its IPS panel gives you a wide 178° viewing angle and a 1000:1 contrast ratio and 350 cd/m² brightness for accurate color reproduction. Its fast 1ms response time (GtG) minimizes motion blur, making it suitable for fast-moving content.

The VESA DisplayHDR 400 certification enhances picture quality by providing improved contrast and color accuracy. In addition, the monitor offers wide color space coverage, including 134% sRGB, 103% NTSC and 98% DCI-P3. Ports include Thunderbolt 4, DisplayPort 1.4, HDMI 2.0 and USB-C.
