MSI Claw on Core 7 Ultra compared to ASUS ROG Ally on AMD
By ForGeeks There are no full reviews of the MSI Claw handheld gaming console on the internet yet, but someone in China did do some testing and compared it to one of its main competitors in the form of the ASUS ROG Ally. One of the main differences between the two is the use of processors from different manufacturers.
The MSI Claw is powered by a 16-core Intel Core 7 Ultra 155H processor with a maximum frequency of 4.8GHz and 2.25GHz eight-core graphics, while the heart of the ASUS ROG Ally is an eight-core AMD Ryzen Z1 Extreme with up to 5.1GHz and up to 2.7GHz 12-core graphics.

In Shadow of The Tomb Raider, MSI’s console loses to ASUS’ solution in every performance mode. At 20W, MSI’s Claw performs 46 fps in the game, while ASUS’ ROG Ally performs around 60 fps. At 15W the difference is almost twofold – 24 vs. 42 fps. In Cyberpunk 2077, Red Dead Redemption 2 and other games the situation is completely similar and not in favor of MSI Claw on Intel.
