The design of the MTG-B2000YST-1AER is inspired by the work of storm chasers who collect data in extreme weather conditions. The unique model features a multi-layered carbon fiber case and a multicolored rubber strap reminiscent of the colors of stormy skies. The iridescent bezel combines blue and silver hues, symbolizing the fickle sky before the storm. Made of carbon and fiberglass, the bezel is shaped like a lightning bolt and the phosphorescent coating glows in the dark to resemble lightning flashes.
It’s protected by an anti-reflective sapphire crystal that’s scratch-resistant and can withstand immersion in water up to 200 meters. Practical features include a charge level indicator, countdown timer and 24-hour stopwatch. The watch also remains lightweight at just 104 grams.
The MTG-B2000YST-1AER is solar-powered, which reduces the need to replace batteries. The watch also features Bluetooth to synchronize with the CASIO WATCHES app, which automatically updates the time, displays the world time, and provides additional features.
