IFA 2025: Anker shows the coin-sized AI dictaphone Soundcore Work

Anker has unveiled a new AI dictaphone called Soundcore Work. The device can record, transcribe and summarize conversations, and its body is the size of a coin.
Compact format and convenient mounting
Soundcore Work weighs just 10 grams and measures 0.91 inches in diameter – smaller than a quarter, but thicker than a regular coin. The recorder can be clipped to clothing with a magnetic clip or worn on a lanyard.

Despite its diminutive size, the device lasts up to 8 hours without charging. It comes with a proprietary charger with built-in rechargeable battery that extends battery life up to 32 hours.

Gesture control and recording of important moments
AI dictaphone is touch-activated: recording starts only when you tap, and double-tapping allows you to mark key parts of the conversation, which are then displayed in the transcript. Two built-in microphones are used for recording.
Files are processed on the device itself using the GPT-4o. Anker claims that recordings are encrypted and can be stored locally and uploaded to the cloud for sharing if needed.
Support for 100 languages and mobile app
Soundcore Work can transcribe speech in over 100 languages. All recordings and their text versions are available in the Soundcore mobile app, where you can search by keyword and export files to other formats.
The recorder will be available in black and white. It is scheduled to launch in September 2025, with a global release at a later date. The device is priced at $99.99, and Anker will offer a paid subscription for $15.99 per month with additional features yet to be revealed.
