Honor has launched the Watch Fit Vitality Edition smart watch
By ForGeeks Honor has officially launched the Watch Fit Vitality Edition in the Chinese market. The new product features an AMOLED display and support for multiple health and workout features at an affordable price.
The device features a 1.32-inch AMOLED screen with a resolution of 466 × 466 pixels. The touchscreen supports gestures, including lifting to activate, tapping, and pressing a button. The device case runs MagicOS 9.0 and is compatible with smartphones running Android 9.0 and above, as well as iOS 13.0 and above.
The case is 9.9mm thick at its thinnest part and weighs about 26g without the strap and 44g with it. The strap is made of silicone and is designed to fit wrist circumferences from 140 to 200 mm.
The battery capacity is 480 mAh (typical is 495 mAh). Charging is via a magnetic connector, and a full cycle takes about an hour when using a 5V/2A adapter. Honor claims up to 23 days of battery life in normal mode and up to 9 days with Always-On Display turned on.
The device supports Bluetooth 5.4 with a maximum range of up to 160 meters, and features NFC for contactless payments and Bluetooth calling. Music control and over-the-air (OTA) updates are also available.
Watch Fit Vitality Edition offers 100 sport modes, including 12 professional modes such as running, cycling, swimming, hiking and more. It tracks heart rate, sleep, blood oxygen level (SpO₂), stress level and heart rate variability (HRV). Women’s health features and body reports are also implemented. The built-in YOYO voice assistant provides recommendations and daily activity summaries.
The sensor suite includes an accelerometer, gyroscope, magnetometer, PPG heart rate sensor and light sensor. Beidou, GPS, GLONASS, Galileo and QZSS are available for positioning. The device is water and dust resistant to 5ATM and IP68 standards.
The Watch Fit Vitality Edition starts at ¥424 ($59) for the Active version and ¥594 ($82) for the Elegant version. Sales have already started on JD.com and Honor’s official website in China. There’s no information on a global launch yet.
