Hisense has introduced the E8Q and E8Q Pro TVs with 330Hz and Devialet sound
By ForGeeks Hispense continues to push the boundaries of display technology with the new E8Q and E8Q Pro series TVs. These models feature Mini LED panels, an ultra-smooth 330Hz refresh rate and an audio system co-developed with Devialet.
Flagship screens and high refresh rates
The new TVs are based on Obsidian Screen’s proprietary technology, which delivers deep blacks and reduced light reflection.
- E8Q utilizes the Obsidian Screen Pro panel.
- E8Q Pro offers an even more advanced version of Obsidian Screen Ultra for better contrast and precise backlight control.
The 330Hz refresh rate makes the E8Q and E8Q Pro some of the fastest TVs on the market. This is especially useful for dynamic content such as sports broadcasts and games. Artificial Intelligence analyzes the picture in real time and compensates for motion blur.
Processors and Image Processing
The following next-generation AI chips are responsible for image processing:
- E8Q is powered by Xinxin AI H6, which improves color reproduction and backlight control.
- E8Q Pro is powered by H7, which supports 6120 local dimming zones and XDR Pro with a peak luminance level of 8500 nits
Gaming to the next level
The two series are geared towards gamers and feature four HDMI 2.1 ports with bandwidth for 4K 170Hz. Support for FreeSync Premium Pro eliminates frame tearing and image latency.
Devialet audio and smart sound
- E8Q got a 4.1-channel system
- E8Q Pro got 4.1.2-channel sound with Dolby Atmos and IMAX Enhanced effects.
AI Spatial Sound technology automatically adjusts the sound to the size of the room for realistic sound.
Software and Design
The two ranges run on Android 14 and offer features based on DeepSeek AI, which enhances images based on content.
