Garmin Forerunner 165 smartwatch specifications revealed before the announcement

Garmin’s website has mentioned the upcoming Forerunner 165 smartwatch, which will be the successor to the Forerunner 55 model released more than three years ago. Based on this information and other sources, Fitness Tracker Test has compiled a report on the key technical features of the upcoming product.

Unofficially, the gadget will feature a 1.2-inch AMOLED screen with a resolution of 390×390 pixels, as well as battery life of up to 11 days (19 hours in GPS navigation mode and 17 hours using GNSS).
According to insiders, the new watch will be available in two variants — Forerunner 165 and Forerunner 165 Music. The second variant will have 4GB of built-in storage for music playback via Bluetooth headphones and a Wi-Fi module.

The smartwatch will also feature an Elevate V4 PPG sensor to track heart rate, sleep quality and SpO2, as well as a barometric altimeter with the ability to determine the floor the user is on.
Official pricing information for the Forerunner 165 is not yet available, but rumors suggest the standard version of the device will cost 280 euros (27 400 rubles) and the “music” version — 330 euros (32 300 rubles).
