Hyundai will launch a budget electric crossover – Hyundai Casper

Hyundai France CEO Lionel Kio has revealed that the Casper will be available soon.
The gasoline-powered version of the Hyundai Casper hit the market in 2021. This compact crossover has a body length of 3,595 mm. According to available data, the electric version of the car will be equipped with a lithium-iron-phosphate battery (with a range of up to 300 km), its length will increase by 250 mm, and its price will be about 20,000 euros (1.96 million rubles) – one of the lowest prices in Europe for an electric car. By comparison, the Tesla Model Y sells for 42,000 euros (4.1 million rubles) in the region.
The Tesla Model Y will be available for around €42,000 (4.1 million rubles).
The electric version of the Hyundai Casper will go on sale in the third quarter of 2024. Even before that, the new product has been spotted on the roads, clad in camouflage. Photos show that the charging connector will be located at the front of the car. Other specific changes to the electric version have not yet been revealed.
