Google launched Pixel Buds 2a – budget headphones with ANC and spatial sound

The Pixel Buds 2a headphones were another new product unveiled today. They’re a more affordable alternative to the Pixel Buds Pro 2, while retaining a number of premium features. Compared to the previous A-series, which came out about four years ago, the new model has received a significant update.
The headphones support active noise cancellation, but don’t feature Silent Seal 2.0 passive noise isolation like the Pixel Buds Pro 2. Spatial sound is also present, though there’s no head-tracking function.
The headphones have up to 7 hours of playback time, and the charging case extends that to 20 hours. Unlike the Buds Pro 2, the Buds 2a case doesn’t support wireless charging.
The headphones are available in Gray and Iris colors. Pricing is $129 in the U.S. and €149 in Europe.
