Google has announced new Pixel devices, but their release may be delayed

On August 20, Google will hold a Made by Google event where it will unveil new Pixel smartphones, smart watches, headphones, and other devices. However, according to Winfuture, many of those products won’t go on sale until October – a delay of nearly two months.
Winfuture reports that many of those products won’t be available until October – a delay of nearly two months.

What to expect and when available:
- Pixel 10 lineup – announcement on August 20, sales start August 28 (one week after the presentation).
- Pixel Watch 4, Pixel Fold Pro 10 and Pixel Buds 2a – to be unveiled at the event, but won’t be released until October
Reasons for delay:
Sources say supply chain issues have affected the release schedule. For example:
- Pixel 10 Pro Fold got an updated display and hinge mechanism, which made it harder to manufacture.
- Pixel Watch 4 is equipped with new hardware and a modified charging system – which also takes extra time.
Google has not officially commented on the timing or even the fact that these devices exist – everything should become clearer at the presentation.
What’s known in advance:
Leaks have already revealed many details, but the exact specs and final design won’t be known until August 20.
