Fujifilm has unveiled the X-T30 III, a lightweight, fast and smart camera with 6.2K video support and a new autofocus mode
Fujifilm has officially unveiled the X-T30 III — a new version of its popular mid-range mirrorless camera. The new product gets a noticeable speed boost, improved autofocus and a handy film simulation selection dial borrowed from more advanced models like the X-T50 and X-M5. The camera is aimed at travelers and street photographers —it’s lightweight, versatile, and still packed with features typically found on more expensive devices.
The first version of the X-T30 came out in 2019, and the updated X-T30 II arrived in 2022, offering only minor improvements. The X-T30 III has significantly more changes — the model gets the same 26.1-megapixel X-Trans sensor, but now with a new image processor that offers twice the speed and significantly improves video shooting capabilities.

The weight of the camera remains largely the same — just 378 grams. The main visual change — a new dial for selecting film simulations, replacing the previous mode switch. You can now quickly switch between different color renditions like Reala Ace and Nostalgic Neg, as well as save your own settings.
The camera is now available in a variety of modes, such as Reala Ace and Nostalgic Neg.
Camera controls remain traditionally Fujifilm rich in buttons and mechanics, which will appeal to experienced users but may seem complicated to beginners. The screen still only tilts (rather than rotates), and the 2.36 million-dot electronic viewfinder remains unimproved. The camera didn’t get built-in image stabilization (IBIS), so you’re better off with an optically stabilized (OIS) lens or electronic stabilization for video.
The continuous shooting speed remains the same — 8fps with the mechanical shutter and 20fps with the electronic shutter. However, thanks to a new processor and improved autofocus, more shots will now be in focus.

The X-T30 III can now record 6.2K video at 30fps using the full sensor area (previously the maximum was 4K/30p). Also available is 4K/60p shooting with a small 1.18x cropping and recording at 10-bit color depth for increased dynamic range. On the downside — lack of stabilization in the body, an awkward 2.5mm microphone jack and a screen that doesn’t swivel sideways, making the model not the most vlogger-friendly.
Other features include — a microHDMI port for RAW video output, a slot for a single SD card (unfortunately only UHS-I), and improved battery life of up to 425 shots on a single charge. Along with the camera, Fujifilm has introduced a new Fujinon XC13-33mm F3.5-6.3 OIS lens with an ultra-wide zoom equivalent to 20-50mm in full frame.

The Fujifilm X-T30 III is already available for pre-order at $999 in three colors — black, graphite and silver. Deliveries will begin in November 2025. The new XC13-33mm F3.5-6.3 OIS lens will go on sale around the same time at a price of $399.
