The Lockly Visage smart lock uses a binocular facial recognition system that relies on two 2-megapixel IR cameras. These cameras can “see” a person up to 80 centimeters away and automatically unlock the door in just 1.5 seconds. The built-in memory of the lock can store up to 100 faces to which the sensor reacts. In addition, a special mobile app is available for remote monitoring and manual control of the smart lock.

The Lockly Visage communicates with the network and other smart devices via Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and NFC. Moreover, it is claimed to be able to recognize RFID tags, access by password, fingerprint or regular key. The Lockly Visage device will be compatible with Google Assistant, Amazon Alexa and Apple’s Home smart home system.

The company also introduced the Matter Link hub for existing locks. It replaces the Lockly Hub and introduces Matter protocol support for legacy lock models, allowing them to communicate with other smart home devices and integrate with the Apple Home system. The new hub will support Flex Touch, Access Touch and Secure Plus models.

Another new development from the brand is the Lockly Guard Z-Wave Deadbolt lock, which features a fingerprint scanner and is certified for Z-Wave wireless protocol. This lock was developed in partnership with Alarm.com and can work well with Alarm.com’s smart home devices.
