Brilliant Labs introduced AR glasses Frame with AI features

Canadian startup Brilliant Labs has unveiled AR glasses called Frame — a device that looks like ordinary sunglasses. The gadget, which is inexpensive by the standards of its segment, also features a projection display and useful AI functions, while costing 10 times less than Apple’s headset.

And it’s not just a sunglass.

The Frame glasses are powered by two batteries that are placed at the ends of the frame. The developers claim that with moderate use, the charge will last for a full day of use. With a light weight of just 39 grams, these smart glasses don’t cause discomfort even when worn for long periods of time.

Brilliant Labs has already opened pre-orders for the Frame glasses, and they plan to release the first batch in April. The novelty will be available in three colors – black, gray and transparent, at a price of $349 (31,720 rubles).
