Thunderobot teases a lightweight Zero Air gaming laptop with RTX 50 graphics cards and Panther Lake processors
The Thunderobot company has launched a teaser campaign for a new gaming laptop ahead of CES 2026. Early details point to an unusual combination of high-performance «hardware» and light weight. The new product, called the Thunderobot Zero Air, is expected to be officially unveiled at next month’s show.
According to the teaser, the Zero Air weighs about 1.6 pounds, which is pretty light for a 16-inch gaming laptop. The device features a 16-inch screen and a built-in numeric keypad, which hints at a focus not just on gaming, but on productivity as well.
From a hardware perspective, Thunderobot is banking on the next generation of components. The Zero Air is expected to be one of the first laptops to combine Nvidia GeForce RTX 50-series mobile graphics cards with Intel Panther Lake processors. The Core Ultra 7 366H appears in one of the variants mentioned, and other Panther Lake chips, including the Core Ultra X7 358H, are also expected to be available for OEM partners.

The short teaser video also shows off the features of the laptop’s design and cooling system. The Zero Air uses four heat pipes, and most of the ports are placed on the back edge of the case. Among the visible connectors are — Ethernet, HDMI, USB Type-A and USB Type-C. This layout is often used in gaming models to keep cables out of the way while in use.

At this time, Thunderobot hasn’t revealed display specs, battery capacity, or final graphics card options. Those details will likely be revealed during the full announcement at CES 2026. Nevertheless, we can already say that the Zero Air is positioned as a lightweight alternative to traditional gaming laptops without giving up much in the way of high performance.
