Skoda Epic: the brand’s most affordable electric crossover debuted in Munich

At the Munich Motor Show Skoda unveiled a prototype of its cheapest electric car, the Epic crossover. The car is close to the production version and will be the brand’s first vehicle to fully embody the new Modern Solid corporate identity.
Pricing and positioning
Skoda Epic will take a place in the lineup below the Enyaq and will be comparable in price to the gasoline-powered Kamiq. The price of the novelty in Europe will be about 25 thousand euros (approximately 2.4 million rubles).
Design and dimensions

The model is based on the 2024 show car, but features more realistic bumpers, modified mirrors and new rims.Main parameters:
- body length – 4,1 m
- capacity – 5 passengers
- trunk volume – 475 liters
The exterior is designed in the new Modern Solid style. The key element is the front end Tech-Deck Face with T-shaped LED DRLs. The Epic was shown at the show in a matte shade of Cashmere, complemented by a gray color of Cosmo Grey.
Interior and Equipment
There are no photos of the interior yet, but according to media reports, some of the solutions are borrowed from the Volkswagen ID.Cross. This means that the equipment will include:
- 11-inch digital instrument cluster
- 13-inch multimedia screen
- the physical keys below the display;
- wireless charging;
- firm Simply Clever solutions: hidden niches, hooks and additional compartments.

Platform and tech
The model is based on the “bogie” MEB+, which Epic will share with the Volkswagen ID.Cross and Cupra Raval.Officially announced:
- power reserve – 425 km (5 km more than the ID.Cross);
- front-wheel drive;
- power of the electric motor – about 211 hp (according to preliminary data).
When the Skoda Epic will be released
The production version of the Skoda Epic will be launched in 2026 at Volkswagen’s plant in Navarre, Spain.
