Mechrevo has officially launched its new S500 office desktop PC in China. The system features a 14th generation Intel Core i5-14450HX processor and comes with 16GB of DDR5 RAM, as well as a 512GB or 1TB PCIe 4.0 SSD. The official price starts at 2,499 yuan (about $354), and pre-orders are already open.
Mechrevo S500 is aimed at users who need high computing performance in a small footprint. The computer is housed in a compact 8-liter chassis that supports both vertical and horizontal mounting. The design allows for tool-less disassembly for easy maintenance and component upgrades.
The system is powered by a 10-core, 16-thread Intel Core i5-14450HX processor with a base frequency of 2.4GHz and turbo frequency up to 4.8GHz. Compared to the previous i5-13420H, the new chip offers more cores, higher frequencies in Boost mode and a larger 20MB L3 cache. This provides faster multitasking, improved rendering performance, and more stable performance in demanding tasks.

The processor is complemented by 16GB of 5600 MT/s DDR5 RAM, which increases bandwidth and overall system responsiveness. The storage is a PCIe 4.0 SSD with 512GB or 1TB of upgradeable storage. The computer also supports up to four internal drives.
Power is supplied by a built-in 200W, multi-line power supply to keep everything running smoothly. For cooling, Mechrevo utilized a proprietary system designed for efficient heat dissipation and low noise.
In terms of connectivity, the S500 features Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.2, Ethernet, and dual-display support via HDMI and DisplayPort. There are ten USB ports on the chassis, including USB 3.2 and USB 2.0, allowing you to connect a wide range of peripherals. The computer comes with Windows 11 pre-installed.
