Hisense has revealed a new range of ULED TVs up to 165 Hz

Hispense has announced a new lineup of ULED TVs. Available in a variety of screen sizes, the U6, U7, U8, and U9 series stand out for their high picture quality, AI-powered feature set, and support for gaming mode with higher refresh rates.

The flagship U9 TVs get the Hi-View AI Engine X processor, while the U7 and U8 are powered by the Hi-View AI Engine Pro chip. Both systems-on-a-chip are responsible for optimizing contrast (through local dimming) and enhancing color reproduction.

The U9 models feature AI 4K Upscaler, AI Super Resolution, AI Noise Reduction, AI Local Dimming, AI HDR Upscaler and AI Depth Enhancer. Sound is provided by a multi-channel audio system with support for CineStage X Surround, Dolby Atmos and DTS Virtual X.
The U8 TVs achieve a peak brightness of 5000 nits in HDR mode (Dolby Vision IQ, HDR10+ and IMAX Enhanced) and feature a 4.1.2 speaker system with up to 82 watts of total power.

The U7, aimed at gamers and sports fans, gets a MiniLED Pro screen, Game Mode Ultra, Game Booster (up to 288Hz), VRR, ALLM, Dolby Vision Gaming and FreeSync Premium Pro. The sound system is a 2.1.1-channel, 60W sound system.
The U6 series is positioned as a more affordable option with a mini-LED matrix. Dolby Vision, Dolby Atmos (2.1 speaker), HDR10+ Adaptive, ALLM, VRR, and gaming mode (up to 144Hz) are supported.
