Epic Games’ director of publishing strategy has left the company

Epic Games’ director of publishing strategy Sergey Galenkin has left the company. In a statement released Monday, Galenkin said today was his last day of work at Fortnite.

It’s unclear whether his departure is related to widespread downsizing at Epic. Last week, the company announced plans to lay off about 830 employees, representing 16% of its total workforce. In announcing his departure, Galenkin said he was «not a good fit» for Epic.
