Production of Evolute i-Sky electric crossover started in Russia

Automotive company Motorinvest has unveiled the start of mass production of its latest electric crossover Evolute i-Sky at a plant in Lipetsk.
Evolute i-Sky is a renamed version of the popular Chinese car Dongfeng Forthing Thunder. This compact crossover has a powerful powertrain with 204 horsepower and 340 Nm of torque. It takes only 8.6 seconds to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h and reaches a top speed of 180 km/h. An integrated battery with a capacity of 85.9 kWh allows driving up to 511 kilometers on the European WLTP cycle without the need for recharging. In addition, it takes just 45 minutes to charge to 80% at the high-power terminal.

«The price for the model starts from 3,995,000 rubles, taking into account the effect of state support. For all electric cars of the brand produced in Russia, a state subsidy is assumed at purchase» – the press service of the plant reported.

According to the company’s website, excluding discounts, the recommended retail price is 4.99 million rubles.
Evolute i-Sky features a comfortable driver’s seat with massage, ventilation and memory functions, a surround-view camera system, six airbags, a digital dashboard, a 10.25-inch multimedia display, a panoramic sunroof, LED optics, climate control, a power trunk lid and other useful features.
