Sales of LADA cars in 2024 increased significantly
By ForGeeks Russian automaker LADA has reported its car sales for the first half of 2024. Sales for the period were up 51.5% year-on-year. In addition, data on the most popular models has been presented.
In the first six months, 217,631 units of LADA cars were sold. June showed the best results, with sales of 39,704 cars, which is 42.6% more than in June 2023.
According to the report, June was the best month for the LADA brand.
The most popular model remains the LADA Granta, with sales of 101,377 cars in six months (+3.3% year-on-year) and 19,158 units in June (+14.3%). In second place is the LADA Vesta, with sales of 64,263 cars in six months (+1114.8%) and 12,495 units in June (+193.4%).
Sales of the LADA NIVA Legend SUV totaled 23,231 units for the six-month period (+36.6%) and 4,037 units in June (+7.2%). The LADA NIVA Travel model for the same periods was sold in the amount of 25,409 and 4,037 cars respectively, which is 20.1% more than last year. Also in June 2024, 107 LADA Largus cars were sold.
