Mazda has revealed the Arata electric crossover concept vehicle

Japanese automaker Mazda unveiled not only the EZ-6 model at the Beijing Auto Show, but also a sleek electric crossover concept called the Arata. The new all-wheel-drive model is expected to replace the MX-30 crossover, with production set to begin as early as 2025.
Mazda’s new all-electric crossover is expected to be available in 2025.
The Arata was developed by Mazda’s Changan brand, created by the two companies in late 2012. This new electric crossover is likely to be based on the Changan Deepal S7 car. According to the brand, Mazda’s Kodo design philosophy was used to develop the exterior design.
The Arata concept car features a massive spoiler separated by a vertical brake light. Illuminated “Mazda” lettering can be seen on the center portion of the brake light, as well as on the sides of the body.
There are cameras instead of conventional mirrors, and door handles and wipers are completely absent. The Arata is scheduled to begin mass production in 2025, but it’s not yet known if the car will be produced outside of China.
The Arata is expected to be available in 2025.
