Geely officially unveiled its first Emgrand sedan in Russia

Geely has launched its first Emgrand sedan on the Russian market.

The new car will be offered in four trims, six body colors, and one 1.5-liter 122-horsepower atmospheric engine paired with a classic six-speed automatic or five-speed manual. The price of the base version is comparable to the Lada Vesta after the recent price hike.

The base package offers only a manual transmission, 15-inch steel wheels with decorative hubcaps, halogen low- and high-beam headlights, LED daytime running lights and rear combination lights, front seats made of fabric upholstery with mechanical adjustment in four directions, multifunctional steering wheel with electric power steering, electrically operated window lifters, heated and electrically adjustable exterior mirrors, air conditioning, front airbags, built-in alarm system. An analog dashboard with a 3.5-inch screen and an 8-inch touchscreen multimedia display with smartphone screen duplication via USB connection are also specified. There is also an ERA-GLONASS emergency call system and a forgotten items reminder function in the rear seats.

The sedan in the next Comfort trim comes with heated front seats and windshield washer nozzles, a USB jack for second-row passengers, a four-speaker audio system, as well as a light sensor and rear parking sensors. In addition, the driver’s seat is mechanically adjustable in six directions, including height adjustment.

The third Luxury trim gets 16-inch alloy wheels, LED headlights for low- and high-beam, a black leather-trimmed multifunction steering wheel with heated steering wheel, cruise control, a rearview camera, and heated windshield wiper blades.

The Flagship trim gets 17-inch alloy wheels, LED combination taillights with a contour line on the trunk lid, a welcome light feature, a power sunroof with a power sunshade, eco-leather seats, and electric driver’s seat adjustment.

The price of the Geely Emgrand ranges from 1.2 million to 2.4 million rubles, depending on the version and equipment.
