PS VR2 is now available for PC users. The official app for the helmet is now available on Steam

A virtual reality app for the PlayStation VR2 virtual reality headset has become available on the Steam game store. It lets users connect the helmet, customize it, and fix some usage issues.
It’s worth considering, however, that some of the headset’s features, such as haptic feedback, HDR, eye-movement tracking, adaptive triggers and other elements, won’t be available on computers. Still, the helmet supports an image resolution of 2,000×2040 pixels per eye at 120Hz with a maximum viewing angle of 110 degrees.
One thing to consider, though, is that the headset will not be available on computers.
The PS VR2 Launcher is scheduled to launch on Steam on August 7, coinciding with the start of sales of special adapters to connect the devices to your PC. It’s important to note that once you’ve customized your helmet, you can’t delete the app, or you’ll have to make all the settings all over again. It’s currently unknown whether a PSN account will be required for the device to work.
