Google has released Android 15 Developer Preview 1,aimed at developers. The beta version is known to include many improvements to improve the quality of communication between software and hardware, as well as several options that will make interacting with Android devices more comfortable. It is worth noting that almost all the changes in Android 15 are designed specifically for developers, but consumers will also receive a package of improvements: in the settings menu “Sound and Vibration” added option “Keyboard Vibration”, allowing you to control the vibration response when working with a virtual keyboard. In addition, the developers have added an option called “Reduce notification volume” that lets you control the volume of notifications from different apps.

The developers have also paid a lot of attention to privacy and security, with improved protection against malware infiltrating application files. Speaking of which, Android 15 uses the latest version of the Privacy Sandbox to help detect app usage patterns for targeted advertising, which certainly improves data privacy. Developers are also continuing to improve the camera capabilities in third-party apps, and previewing images in low-light conditions will be more comfortable, as images will be brighter.
