Google’s dialogic artificial intelligence Gemini Live has recently become available for free to everyone, and now the company has announced another development for the service.

And now the company has announced another development for the service.

Starting today and «rolling out over the next few weeks», conversational Gemini Live will support more than 40 languages. Gemini Live supports bilingual conversations on a single device, with plans to expand this capability to more languages in the future.

At the same time, Gemini Live will support conversations in two languages on a single device.

Unfortunately, Google hasn’t shared a list of the languages it will add. Previously, the neural network only supported English, German, Spanish, French, and Portuguese. To change the languages for Gemini Live, open the Google app, go to Settings > Google Assistant > Languages, and select one. You can then optionally add a second supported language.
