Colin Farrell reprises his role as Oswald “Oz” Cobb, also known as Penguin, in the TV series of the same name. Monsters: The Lyle and Eric Menendez Story (Sept. 19)
.
Ryan Murphy had success with “Monster: The Jeffrey Dahmer Story,” which earned six Emmy nominations. The second installment of the biographical true-crime anthology series revisits the old case of brothers Lyle and Eric Menendez, who were convicted of brutally murdering their parents in 1996. It’s still unclear what direction the series will take, but in the decades since their arrest and trial, opinions have been polarized. While no one denies what the young men did, both brothers remain convinced that they acted to stop a lifetime of alleged physical, emotional and sexual abuse. However, the public believes that they simply wanted to clean up the family fortune.
And the public believes that the two brothers acted to stop the alleged physical, emotional and sexual abuse throughout their lives.

Were Lyle and Eric really monsters, or is there more to the story? Nothing justifies their monstrous actions, but looking at things from a new angle may make those familiar with the case think differently. This story has many ways to unfold…
Here’s the story.
Nobody wants this (Sept. 26)
David Foster’s daughter Erin Foster created this comedy about the unlikely romantic relationship between an unconventional rabbi named Noah (Adam Brody) and an outspoken, not to mention agnostic, woman named Joanne (Kristen Bell). Foster based the plot on her own life and the difficulties of finding the right person.

The series also stars Justine Lupe (“Hereditary”) and Timothy Simons (“Veep”), with Tova Feldshuh (“The Walking Dead”) and Jacqueline Tone (“Guys,” “Gen V”) serving as executive producers. Given the other successful comedies he’s produced, such as “Fashion Magazine” and “American Family,” “Nobody Wants It” could be his next big hit if it resonates with audiences.

The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon – The Book of Carol, Season 2 (Sept. 29)
.
One of the many new spin-offs in the “Walking Dead” universe, “The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon” will return with a second season in season two, titled “The Book of Carol.” That’s because fan-favorite character Carol (Melissa McBride) surprised fans with a cameo in the final episode of the first season, confirming her appearance on the show.

Daryl (Norman Reedus) is torn between France and America, and young Laurent (Louis Puech Scigliuzzi) convinces him to stay in Paris — the first season was eventful. But Carol won’t rest until she finds her best friend and makes sure he’s okay. Much of the season will likely focus on her journey to destroy everything (and everyone) who gets in her way. Naturally, we can expect plenty of encounters with enemies, living and dead. Already renewed for a third season before the second season premieres, the series — is more than just fanservice for those who miss the original and some of its most beloved characters.
Season one will be the first season of the series.
