“Yandex” announced a smart speaker with a screen and camera called “Station Duo Max”

Yandex has unveiled the Station Duo Max smart speaker with a screen and camera. The device has a swiveling FullHD display and a camera for controlling a smart home without internet.

Pre-order for the “Duo Max Station” will begin on November 28, with pricing and specs to be announced. Speaking of which, this is Yandex’s first smart speaker with a screen. The «Duo Max Station» will be the flagship in a new category of speakers with a screen. Users will be able to see «Alice»’s responses and give commands by touch. The touchscreen is swivel and large, with Full HD resolution and a built-in camera for video calls. There’s a Zigbee module built in for smart home control. Yandex promises clear and detailed sound.

And it’s a good choice.

It’s worth noting that a new “Station Midi” speaker with a monochrome LED display and three speakers has also been unveiled. As a reminder, Yandex and Xiaomi released a “Smart Display” with a 10.1-inch screen and a 6-watt stereo.
