External portable graphics card with SSD slot unveiled

One-Notebook has finally fully unveiled its new OneXplayer OneXGPU external graphics card. This unique solution happens to be the first of its kind to feature an M.2 SSD slot. The main component of the adapter — a Radeon RX 7600M XT mobile 3D card with 8GB of memory, which is very close to the desktop version of the RX 7600 in terms of performance.

The case also has room for an SSD, but it’s worth noting that it will connect via a PCIe 2.0 interface, which severely limits its performance compared to modern SSDs. Nevertheless, it’s still a significant step forward, and the product is unique in the market anyway.
Another thing to note is that it’s not just an SSD, it’s an SSD.
Despite the modest size of the case, the port set is impressive. Besides Oculink, there are also two HDMI, two DisplayPort, USB-C, two USB-A and even RJ45 to connect the adapter to PCs and portable consoles.
The campaign on Indiegogo hasn’t launched yet, so details, including size and price, are still unknown. However, judging by other external graphics cards in this format, we should expect the price to be quite affordable.
