AMD launched a new 64-core processor

Today AMD officially announced two new processor lines: the Ryzen Threadripper 7000 and Ryzen Threadripper PRO 7000, powered by AMD Zen 4 architecture and utilizing the LGA sTR5 socket.

Amdm’s new Ryzen Threadripper 7000 and Ryzen Threadripper PRO 7000 processors are based on the AMD Zen 4 architecture.

The basic Ryzen Threadripper 7000 series includes processors with 24 to 64 cores, while the Pro version has 12 to 96 cores. The TDP level of the two lines is 350W.

It’s worth noting that AMD WRX90 and TRX50 system logic sets have also been introduced, which will support both regular and PRO versions of the Ryzen Threadripper 7000.
